There was worlds of reputation in it, but no money.

Hey kids,
I got me a feature in Detroit.

DE-TROIT, muthafucka.
Headin' back there in October. Maybe I ought to contact that Saturday series in Southfield too...

Check out the list of gigs on my Coffeehouse page, both past and future. Look at the variety of venues and the range of cities. Doesn't it make me look like, you know, a real performer? Like a professional dude who, like, tours and shit? Wow.

Detroit doesn't have a subway (that I know of), but it does have a really cool elevated train...

I dint think Detroit had any form of tranportation other than cars, trucks and buses.

Congratulations... but I hear that Detroit audiences throw stuff on stage!!! (or is that just at hockey games?)

Probably just at hockey games.

One thing Detroit audiences DO do, though, is this:
When you announce onstage that you have a book or CD for sale, and mention its price (e.g. $10), they all yell in unison: "ONLY TEN DOLLARS??!?!??!!?"

Maybe we should start doing that in Toronto. Wait... maybe not.

You caould say "Only 10 Euros" and see what they say...

If they're smart, they'll answer, "SEULEMENT DIX EUROS??!?!!?"
